These researchers found that leukemia and lymphomas in laboratory tests on female rats increased dramatically. This can be a major concern for people with type 2 diabetes who are trying to limit their intake of sugar and are use alternative sweetener products. Some studies have found that the pancreas in the body of a diabetic is aging more rapidly than the population in general. Beta cells are dying in the pancreas. The death of these cells is just the start, cancer can develop in the stomach afterwards. In another study done on the rats with aspartame it found that only one soda had harmful effects to the cells. Yet another study found that aspartame can cause cellular DNA damage. The damage that caused this was very similar to those associated by cancer.

It is natural conversion process for the body to be energized. Do not fill the body with unnatural substances and you can avoid any further complications.

Additionally, some people claim that drinking soda pop can develop into addictions, in which those with diabetes could be subject to health problems because the pop is rich in caffeine. According to other studies, if people with diabetes drank one can of soda daily, in one year they could gain 15 pounds. Health risks were discussed for type 2 diabetics that surround diet pop issues.

Diet pop contains caffeine, aspartame, carbonation, low calorie sweeteners, sucralose, and other ingredients. Carbonation is salt, ester, or carbonic acids. Having too much of carbonation is bad for your health.
